Losing by 4 at Palace

My heart sank when I saw the United line-up for Monday nights game at Crystal Palace. Casemiro and Evans in central defence and no Bruno.

Palace, as anyone who has watched any of their games or highlights this season will confirm, are a direct and pacey team. They must have looked at our line-up with our slow and ageing centre halves and Eriksen in midfield and rubbed their hands with glee. That's not to mention the rarely spotted Mason Mount and Antony. 5 players who are nowhere near good enough for United.

Credit where credit is due for Evans. He has done a job this season, but that has been when he has had a proper centre half alongside him, not Casemiro. Evans was also just back from injury and very likely around 75/80% fit.

United were destroyed 4-0 and it could have been a lot more.

Jamie Carragher went through Casemiro after the game, stating that he should walk away from United at the end of the season and head to America or Saudi. It's heartbreaking to see Casemiro in this kind of form, in this kind of state. He is miles off the pace. The energy, drive, leadership and game reading qualities he brought to the team last season have seemingly evaporated.

I feel for Ten Hag. The squad has been decimated by injury. Martinez, Varane, Magiuire, Shaw, Fernades, Rashford - all missing from the squad and team.

Poor Kobbie Mainoo, no chance. Playing in front of that central defence and alongside Eriksen and Mount! And Antony and Garnacho don't exactly offer much protection!

What a fucking state of a team!

Surely there must have been some youngsters that could have been brought in?

United are 8th and I don't think we'll win another game all season.
